I'm a staff photojournalist at the Philadelphia Inquirer who enjoys photographing everything from sports action to politics. My favorite stories focus on faith, education, immigration, and the intersection of sports and social justice. I believe photojournalism can connect us as humans, while also challenging our perceptions of the world.

A native New Yorker, I earned my undergraduate degree in Journalism at Stony Brook University, and later an MS degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Workshops I’ve attended include the Missouri Photo Workshop, the Council on Foreign Relations Local Journalists workshop, and the Eddie Adams workshop.

My work has been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association and the Society of Professional Journalists, among other organizations. A favorite highlight of mine was working with the team of journalists who won the Inquirer its first Emmy awards. Most recently I became a certified drone pilot.

When I’m not making pictures I enjoy spending time outdoors and trying different coffeeshops.
